Some sunblock, pest repellant and a hat are suggested. Some drinking water is strongly suggested. Loaner helmets are available, just leave your license as a deposit. Novices usually run after lunch in the 3rd or 4th heats PREPARE YOUR CAR: Please make sure all the loose items are removed from the car. Make sure the battery bracket is snug, remove hub caps (if any). Check that the lug nuts are tightened on the rim. Everything should be bolted down securely. Tires must not have any chords/belts showing. Battery must be solidly in place. Car must be mechanically sound. In short, if it can pass the State Safety Inspection you should be ok DIRECTIONS TO THE EVENT: Until further notice, head to Hawaii Raceway Park in Campbell. Directions; CLICK HERE. Drive into the gate. Tell the gate keeper you're a novice. Sign the waiver and get a arm band. Ask where registation. At this time it is at the trailor REGISTRATION: Find parking and head over to registration, currently at the trailer. Pay your fee. Sign up for a heat to run. Sign up for a heat to work. Get your paperwork. Fill it out. Ask questions TECH INSPECTION: Open the hood, trunk and all doors. Empty the car of loose items. Ask everyone around you for the tech inspector DRIVER'S MEETING: Details on the work assignments and driving will be addressed at the driver's meeting.
