The 1st Annual School Supplies Drive & After Dark Show Off

The 1st Annual School Supplies Drive & After Dark Show Off, brought to you by Scion Evolution (Hawaii Chapter), Tires Direct, scionhawaii.com, and Helping Hands Hawaii benefiting Helping Hands Hawaii for the "Ready To Learn" Program. Date set for this first ever event was Saturday, August 6th, 2005, as a wide range of vehicles rolled into the parking lot of Tires Direct. 5 p.m. till 9 p.m. was the time frame alotted for this event giving both spectators and participants alike time to enjoy the rides that were displayed throughtout the night. Raffles and door prizes were given throughtout the night, with an "After Dark Show" class that partipants of this event could enter. Speaking of the "After Dark Show," winners of their perspective classes included Dave Tang's 92 Lexus SC300 representing Pimplux CC taking the Import Class, Randy Asuncion's 2000 Audi A4 taking the Euro Class, Eiijahs Towing 1959 Impala representing Supremacy CC taking the Classics Class, Paul Ferrara's 2003 Mustang Cobra taking the American Car Class, Francis Sua's 95 GMC Sierra taking the Truck/SUV/VAN Class, and last but not the least was Chris G's 1961 Impala Convertible representing Elite CC taking the Lowrider Class. Pimplux CC took home the trophy for Club Participation, showing the old timers that they could hang with the best of them. Scion Revolution (Hawaii Chapter) would like to thank all the car clubs and solo riders for supporting the event and making it a success including Pimplux, Supremacy Hawaii, Timeless Classics, UCE Car Club, Elite Car Club, and others that they forgot to mention. Scion Evolution (Hawaii Chapter) would also like to thank HOT I.94 for the air time in regards to the event, and for showing up live for an hour or so. Until next year.....
