The Childhood Dreams 3rd Annual BBQ held on Sunday, November 19th, 2006 within Keehi Lagoon Beach Park. Brought to you none other than by Childhood Dreams Car Club, this event incorporated a Show & Shine, good food, entertainment, raffle prizes, and a hopping contest. Speaking of the Show & Shine, categories that one could enter included Classic Lowrider, Traditional Lowrider, Luxury Lowrider, Fullsize Truck/SUV, Mini Truck, and Street Hopper with 1st and 2nd place trophies given to the participants accordingly. Other awards for the event included Best of Show and Club Participation, with $200 being awarded to the person who produced the highest hop in the hopping contest. Sponsors for the event included Xccelerate Hawaii Magazine, Homestead Hidroz, On Point Screen Printing, HiDefFX, Matco Tools, X-seed Autowerkz, and eight08.net. Car clubs in attendance included Supremacy Hawaii, Uce, Outsiders, Turnin' Point, Lowrider's Pride, Timeless Classics, Elite, Majestics Hawaii, Strictly S, Mix Traditions, and a whole lot more including solo riders who could more than hold up on their own.
