The DJ'S Motorsports 1st Annual Poker Run & Car Show held on Sunday, December 10th, 2006 within the DJ's Motorsports Waipahu Location from 9 a.m. till sunset The Poker Run began immediately at 9 a.m. sharp within the DJ's Motorsports Waipahu location snaking it's way through Skin Clothing in Kapolei, DJ's Motorsports in Kaneohe, Sandy Beach Cutter Dodge Pearl City, Cutter GMC Waipahu, and finally ending where it all started. Entry fee for the Poker Run was $5.00 per person plus 2 canned goods or an unwrapped toy, and included a plate lunch and refreshment. A great Poker Run indeed with all of the canned goods and unwrapped toys being donated to the Lokahi Tree Foundation just in time for the christmas season As for the car show which began at 12 p.m., categories included Truck class, SUV class, Import class, Bike class, Hot Rod class, Classic class, and Lowrider class. A wide range of cars, trucks, and bikes represented included those who showed up at the previous night's Hot Import Nights. An "after the car show" car show as some of us said with racesauce.com bringing out their right hand drive Nissan Skyline supercars as well as a high powered Toyota Supra. From bagged trucks, import tuners, lowriders, custom bikes & choppers all the way to restored classics and present day muscle cars, this show most definitely had something to make any automotive enthusiast do a doing take or even a triple take Live entertainment throughout the day was provided by HOT I-94, as well as a live band that filled the surrounding area with music to keep the crowd upbeat. A wide range of vendor booths could be found throughout the premises with lots of prizes and raffles being available to both spectators and participants alike All in all, a great showing and turnout from DJ's Motorsports 1st Annual Poker Run and Car Show and we hope for many more to come. A big thank you from Supremacy Hawaii to DJ's Motorsports for allowing our club to do another exhibiton hop & dance with our bagged cutty "One Hit Wonder" on the street!
